I am 71 years old, and still work part time. I have been told by the company that handles my 401k, that as long as I still work for the same company, and still contribute to my 401k, I do not have to take minimum withdrawals from my 401k, and do not risk heavy tax penalties, as stated in your April issue under The Money Quiz. Which is correct?

  2. Hi Ms. Raposa,

Thank you for your question. We linked to the “Money IQ” article, but it was from the website of the AARP Bulletin, which is responsible for its accuracy. I’d suggest contacting the AARP bulletin or a financial advisor.

    Blessings, Rob Blezard
