Jesus calls the church, as diverse as we Christians are, to be one. That’s quite a challenge in today’s highly polarized world, but what might happen if we take the mission seriously? Focusing on deep relationship and what we have in common through Jesus would be one way to start.

If we’re serious about following Jesus, there will be a cost. Yes, for us to truly be one as Jesus prays, for there to be freedom for all people, we just be willing to pay the price and accept the cost. Oddly enough, if we do so, we will find freedom ourselves.
